I'm willing to bet that Con Air gets the 1997 spot in a few months. From about '95 to '00, Cage was a fairly unavoidable presence in the studio system.

Comparing James Franco to Ethan Hawke is an insult because that would infer that Franco is a good actor.
No joke, when I saw the thumbnail on the mainpage, I thought it was one of Phillip's disguises on the upcoming season of The Americans…
"The show chronicled the behind-the-scenes antics and in front of camera entertainment of The Mary McKinnon Show, a
variety-show vehicle for McKinnon (Moore), alternating between Mary and
her staff dealing with an endless series of crises and flashy
production numbers…"
Absolutely. The pilot is great but after that, yeah, the rest of the season are two different entities made with far less money. The Walking Dead would have
worked better as handful of 90 minute movies, ala Sherlock, that told a couple of seasons of storytelling in a few films.
I've only seen two of the movies, but of the two, Lord of War and Bringing Out The Dead are very good.
To paraphrase Roger Ebert: Piers Morgan doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. Piers Morgan doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as a barrel of soiled condoms.
It was probably the Gung Ho adaption of the Michael Keaton movie.
I had that same thought. Basically any success Santos has as a candidate is due to his own instincts and less about Josh as the chief strategist.
I recently went through the entire series again and I was surprised how much of S5 wasn't a nightmare as I first recalled.
Yeah, don't make me choose between "Takiawase" and "Ozymandias," AV Club!
Gilligan just needs to avoid the temptation of writing that self-referential scene where Walter White ducks into the frame for a moment to call Saul a lowlife.
While I'm inclined to agree James isn't the best overall baddie, this was a season of television that Burn Notice needed. As was this finale. He needed to be faced with a villain who wasn't wholly bad, and made the CIA more corrupt by comparison.
It'd be hilarious in a few weeks, instead of critics it was everyone.
