Wow that hit me as uninteresting and poorly paced as a bad modern Simpsons episode. Wondering if some people are sucking the kool aid out of Rick & Morty's dick.

Ha! True… But regardless I think Pet Sounds is a more ambitious effort than Rubber Soul or St Pepper (hell, Brian had a nervous breakdown after it - he was doing the work equivalent to four Beatles mostly on his own terms). Brian was trying to really express himself, the Beatles were generally expressing lord knows

'Wouldn't It Be Nice' is probably the greatest recording ever. More than any piece of pop I've ever heard, its born of the drive of someone hellbent on transcending the ordinary with the greatest human balance of pure sincerity, ingenuity, musicianship, and harmony ever put to record. Its a superhuman dream that it

For me anyways (I do voice acting pretty regularly), if I have to play a character who is 'badly acting', you've just got to break all the rules you have. Emphasize weird words, stop believing in what you're saying, give everything an edge of discomfort, like half your mind is elsewhere - theres certainly an aspect of

Get confident, stupid!

It does seem like their demographic changes drastically from episode to episode, and certainly sometimes they don't often end scenes on the strongest jokes in the scene, and spell certain things out a hair too much. But there's still a lot to appreciate. Simpsons never got 'Phantom Menace' bad or anything like that,

I've seen so many self indulgent one person plays, and this satiated a hole of love/hate disdain I have for them. Absolute favorite episode of the series, along with the very first one.

I want a special laserdisc edition release of Bag Boy!
("Well, That's the part with Mickey Dolenz of the Monkees…")

I wish! Although I do have a similarly violent laugh. Its a blend between his and Krabappel's.

I still think in general someone else should have voiced Jocelyn. The similarities can take me out of the moment.

Big question - Abe didn't die as we see in other future episodes… so why is he dead here? Or is he chryogenically frozen underneath his tombstone in an underground facility even then?

"…For adults."

Lol :)

Thanks for the sobriety. I start to feel like I'm a horrible person if I like a new Simpsons episode cos the mob mentality is so strong.

My favorite gag was the guy at the bar who couldn't even win the saddest guy in the bar contest :) classic.

You guys are absolutely ridiculous!!! That was a brilliant episode of television that told a concise story in a surprising and interesting way. The timing of it was beautiful, the way it developed was beautiful, the animation was brilliant. This got me feeling too… especially when Lisa came out to speak with a
