DS stands for "Developer's System" according to Iwata in 2004. The fact that it can also stand for "Dual Screen" was either a marketing coincidence or an intentional double interpretation.

I don't know what this "air of innocence" is about, Earthbound made me feel dirty... :(

There are soooooo many Nintendo games that need art books but won't ever get them. Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Kid Icarus: Uprising are two games I'd love to have art collections of.

Dammit, Jason, NOW MY LIFE WON'T BE COMPLETE UNTIL ALPHA DREAM MAKES A KIRBY RPG.

I'm completely ashamed to admit I might be double-purchasing. I'm currently even considering picking up the PS3 physical copy of DuckTales next week even though I downloaded it for WiiU. Being a collector kind of sucks.

WAIT. This is news to me.

Who's bright idea was it to make the collector's edition 3DS only?

But GameStop is the only retailer that can sell Xenoblade—their publishing deal with Nintendo ensured that. So the supply is driven by them. Make of that what you will.

I bought one. For those interested, I have some pictures. The only difference I have been able to find so far is the case it comes in. I am led to believe that this is a case of GameStop sitting on all the used copies they have accumulated over the year, and selling them all at once.

The only reason I would call "scam" is if these really are re-prints. The reason Xenoblade is so expensive is due to the supply of the item. If the game got a second print, the value of the game is now less, and they shouldn't be charging this much.

Yeah, there's really no excuse for the entire back-catalog of first-party owned titles not being available on Wii/WiiU/3DS, provided the system architecture can support the emulator.

But... But I... But... But... GAH I NEED IT.

Oh, Nintendo, you keep trying so hard to be funny. I mean, I love the humor I see in your games, but your PR humor just doesn't come off as natural to me. Does anyone else feel just a tad uncomfortable when they watch Reggie, Iwata, or Trinen be humorous? It's like, they're so likeable but so awkward...

They are bringing over BOTH Senran Kagura games, and packaging it digitally as a single product. Also, it's worth mentioning that this has been one of XSeed's most requested games in the past couple years.

I've got about 116/597 games that I haven't finished. Some I haven't started, some I got bored with, and some I only own just to own and not to play.

As paperscissors said, Square-Enix does still hold the rights to all original characters in Mario RPG. There was a pretty strong rumor that Sora was in talks with Square during the development of Brawl about getting Geno in the game, but an agreement couldn't be reached in time. Beware the Forest Mushrooms was

I can only think of a few flaws in the game:

Soul Calibur II without Link is not Soul Calibur II.
