Pretty much. Although I would argue some of the changes in TTYD were steps backwards (Partners being actual Party members, lots of backtracking and fetch quests), but it really just comes down to preference.

Well, Paper Mario N64 was certainly not good because of its story. It actually had really clever mechanics going for it. TTYD on the other hand... Its writing was its strongest asset. Without a story, there wouldn't have been much left. I guess it depends on the direction of the game?

Okay, between retail and digital, there's like 30 games available right now. The system has been out not even two weeks. December is also one of the "dead months" for game releases. Just wait until January. It really isn't strange at all.

Let me know when someone makes something that can play PAL Terranigma in the US. Then I might be willing to shell out for it. So long as the price is reasonable.

Except people do have a problem throwing down money for such an incremental upgrade. Those kinds of people own Android phones or other phones that allow affordable alternatives to memory. There is no excuse for companies like Sony and Apple to use proprietary memory. It's awful.
