As someone who manages a used-game store, this kind of pisses me off.

Every planet/person has an inner essence known as a "Heart" (probably its soul), and the idea is that every heart is connected by an invisible force to a "master heart" known as Kingdom Hearts. There are several different Kingdom Hearts, and this story revolves around dark entities seeking dominion over their power.…
I agree. Another Zelda with it's "tone" or a continuation of the Hero of Time's story would be fine, but let Majora's Mask remain a "one-off".
Am I completely alone in not wanting a third Chrono game? Just remake Chrono Cross and write back in all that stuff you took out (ex. Guile = Magus). Chrono Cross pretty well wrapped up everything from Trigger, didn't it? I don't see any need for more.
It should get replaced with this: [www.brentalfloss.com]
My only complaint about the site would be the Social Networking integration. Everything else is great. I'm loving the programming blocks; especially Kotaku Melodic and Watch This, Play This.
I second this. The JRPG column is fantastic!
Oh, yeah, the Micro is unmatched in clarity, without a doubt.
I like the first one. Also, HyunA, was it? I think that if there was anyone in the audience who forgot women have hips, you just reminded them permanently.
Except that it's tiny as hell and actually awful for playing RPGs without destroying your eyes. The crisp picture is hardly worth the pain. I could only handle FFVI and Golden Sun for so long before switching back to the GBASP, which imo has much higher quality buttons. The Micro's shoulder buttons have too many "dead…
Well, I used Beat'Em-Ups as an example because they and Street Fighter are both core Action games, stylistically. There's very little in the way of filler and variables, like you would see in a Platformer, which is a sub-genre of Action. Street Fighter is like Beat'Em-Ups, only more focused, which is what makes it a…
This is more or less how I feel.
I would agree that Smash is a hyrbid game. I don't care for the term "party-fighter", though I can see where it would be appropriate. It's most certainly a hybrid of Fighting and Platformer, whatever you would call that. At the very least, I can submit to the idea that Smash is not solely a Fighting game.
Smash Bros. is absolutely a fighting game. The problem is that Smash Bros. is built on different foundations than, say, Street Fighter. Games like Street Fighter are built off of standard Action games like Kung Fu or River City Ransom. Smash Bros. on the other hand, is a Fighting game built off of a Platformer (Kirby…
So: Adventure Time, Epic Mickey, Luigi's Mansion, Zero Escape, and Kingdom Hearts all on 3DS this year, and no console games that I can think of that I want?
What is with these comments.
That was what I said. My initial stipulation to upgrading was that those two games would need to go digital, but now, even if they did, I still would not "upgrade". I would HAVE to keep my PSP.
I had thought, for some time, that I would be upgrading my PSP3000 to a Vita; provided I could play Crisis Core and Kingdom Hearts. Reading about all these emulation issues has me concerned, however. It seems that even if I were to upgrade to a Vita, there is no guarantee that all my PSN titles would be playable. This…
I remember this! Yay! :D
Believe it or not, this happens ALL THE TIME.
