Betty was in something shaped like an A-line, which is a cliche that fat women are often relegated to. And she was bulked up by the coat and scarf and purse and had her usual prim mid-century Grace Kelly hair and makeup, which is starting to look dated.

I hope so.

Well she didn't offer. Her friend asked and she was kind of begrudging in relaying to Don that they'd have to get it. She was also barefoot, which has this death significance that was established last episode. And the smog that had to be left out of the sanctuary of the apartment. Megan's gradually becoming isolated

So Don can tell just Ginsberg his Sno-Ball idea belongs to the agency and Don go and do magazine interviews where he talks about *his* inspiration for what was really Ginsberg's idea.

Season premiere, Roger thanked Don for not inviting Joan to his surprise party, obviously trying to make an excuse to talk about Joan, and said he'd have gotten "an earful" in the car on the way home.

"we succeeded in passing a law will waste taxpayer money defending legal challenges that it will lose" #corrections

Don can take credit for Peggy's and Megan's work much more easily than he can Ginsberg's.

I liked that scene too but my feeling was that Betty was just going through the motions, imitating the sounds of the weight watchers leader or Dr. Edna rather than really thinking these things for herself. But it's a potential first baby step toward growing into that thinking.

They probably figure those jobs would go to men, who are the people who really need and deserve them. And women can go back to taking care of the babies and making the sammiches and cleaning the house and all that domestic labor the Bible says they're supposed to provide for free. If they're even thinking that far,.

Yeah, in a much much smaller way, Megan was sabotaging her friend the way Don was sabotaging Ginsberg and Betty was sabotaging Megan and Roger was sabotaging Peter... Jealousy.

It's the fault of the writers, but I'm annoyed that she's suddenly Jewish. There's been debates that she might be, but now she's calling Roger "Bubbeleh?" Where's she been?

She didn't break up the marriage. Don cheated on her constantly and lied to her about who he even was. He broke up the marriage.

Post partum depression ain't no joke.

Except the Libertarian party is just as obsessed with government regulation of interuterine goings-on as Republicans are so so much for their "you keep to your business..." aspect.

No idea, since nobody's said. Maybe we'll find out later the chemo worked.

It's the exact same "criticism" that was leveled at Betty the previous four seasons.

Damn, girl. Pessimistic much?

She told him last episode, "it's always been real." She loved him.

Wasn't there a "day without a Mexican" protest a few years ago? And I seem to remember some attempt at a "day without a woman" protest but they couldn't get enough women to participate.

Ever been in a situation where you're with somebody you recently broke up with and still have feelings for? If they come at you at that point, it's pretty hard to say no, and it makes it harder to get over them.
