Agreed with all this, except I've grown to kind of love Ginsberg.

The generation gap between Don and Megan was really brought to light at the end of the episode, when Megan suggested Don start his acquaintance with the Beatles with "Tomorrow Never Knows," the weirdest most experimental track on Revolver, and he couldn't take more than ten seconds of it before he tottered off to bed

Aren't we getting defensive. You're the one who implied an equivalency by failing to mention an enormous double standard.

Right? And Presidents often get a before-and-after contrast commentary on how the demands of the office have taken their toll, so that's exactly the same as the shit Pelosi and Clinton get all the time. You're a big ball-busting feminazi for saying otherwise.

If you do a google for "Barack Obama old" and "Hillary Clinton old" the sentiments behind the results are much different.

Like when? I can't recall that ever happening.

It looks like a knock off of an old James Bond movie poster.

I think it's a mistake to analogize rapists to fruit flies. Humans have a higher level of cognition than insects. They even sometimes use that higher cognition to commit crimes against other humans and get away with those crimes. Or to convince themselves and their victims that no crime took place at all. Fruit flies

I was wondering why I never heard anyone raise a stink over those PCS ads. Those were just embarrassing. I don't recall having seen one in a while though.

We're so post-racist and post-sexist it's safe for us to be racist and sexist again! Weeeee!

All the other actors have said of everyone on the show, Vincent Kartheiser is the least like the character he plays. You can see it in the DVD commentary he does too.

"The leaves all brown came tumbling down" sounds like a lot of death and Holocaust imagery to me. Seems way more stabby-feeling and in keeping with the episode's theme about death. That's what I'm going with.

I agree. It's the simplistic one-size-fits-all logic a lot of antichoicers exhibit. Once I got past that though, the article was okay, especially considering where it was published.

That's what's "stabbing [him] in the fucking heart?" Tin Pan Alley and Guy Lombardo?

Yeah, she could at least be interacting with Joan and Lane more. And Don for that matter.

How do you work her in more without it looking contrived? I don't think any of the secretaries have ever gotten a lot of screen time unless one of the executives was fucking them. I know that sounds terrible, but it's true.

Not as long as you stay focused on the rapist.

I think it's worthwhile to understand the motives and rationale of rapists. Whether they're reformable or not. I think we spend too much time talking about rape like it's an inevitability or a weather event rather than a series of decisions that human rapists make.

Yeah and tears. If you don't have vaginal tearing you weren't virginal enough to be a real rape victim.

The fade-in was probably to underscore what was missing with Megan out of the picture.
