That backdrop is at the Marriage Bureau in NYC. It’s fun to watch the couples getting married there pose for cheesy photos.

The stitching and tread make me think those are Docs. My shoes SINCE the nineties.

I’d hope if there’s one thing most people can agree on as a benefit from the interview, is that it got that oatmeal faced blowhard to cancel himself.

Lol this picture! Though I must say, I’d be pretty surprised if Chloe Sevigny got married in a traditional white princessy-type gown.

The uk is hella racist. Not that most admit it - this rag and their ilk try to convince us its just patriotism. I say this as a Brit who hears almost daily how Piers Moron speaks for the people or “I haven’t got a racist bone in my body but [insert racist tirade about immigration and living off benefits here]”.

I’m pretty sure that backdrop is the one at city hall in NYC, where they probably got married. It’s in the lobby for anyone to take their photo in front of Hence the dirty floor too :)

I wonder if Philip’s reputation was improved by the Crown (the tv show, that is). Before he was just a racist asshole. Now he’s a cheeky, kinda witty racist asshole with LAYERS.

Given that it was a secret wedding in pre-pandemic times and they live in NYC, I have a feeling part of the outfit choices were motivated by the fact that if she puts her veil in her bag, no one would ever guess they were getting married.

Yup, the more time that money grows the better.

God, that rag is such racist crap. Of course their readers want to strip them of their titles, and have jack-all to say about Prince Pedo.

oh please share a picture if you can, that sounds so perfectly gorgeous 💜

Prince Charles is lower than Prince Phillip? Good lord. The man might as well step aside for William right now.

As long as we’re talking wedding do-overs, I’d do mine at the courthouse in a red cocktail dress and heels. Sassy AF would be the color and theme.

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying, I would love to see your great grandparents wedding photo!

There’s obviously been a lot of comparisons made to the Diana interview given the similarity when it comes to describing how cold and uncaring the family is, how abusive the press are, and suffering from serious mental health problems as a result of both but it’s really not the same.

That’s a good one! The monarchy has survived disasters that make this look like a bug bite. As you know, it’s not only unlikely, but impossible!

My great grandma wore a burgundy dress with an amazing hat as well. My mom (as a girl) asked her why she didn’t have a white dress and my great grandma’s response was to wink and say, “Maybe I wasn’t a virgin?” She was such a fun, sassy lady. She swore to my grandparents she wouldn’t live to see 2000. She died 11:30pm

They’re really not. They don’t really care what the US or probably in the long run what the already moving towards republicanism “New Commonwealth” (i.e. BAME majority countries) think about all this. At the end of the day it’s only Brits who are paying for this overpriced and far past its sell by date theatre troupe

Daily Mail’s resumed normal transmission unsurprisingly with its extremely subtle return to pushing the blame on her for them leaving as some conniving trickster (as though his unhappiness wasn’t known for years). When they had all the photos of the couple sat together for the interview they instead chose a

My Great Grandma wore a black, beaded, sequined wedding gown with a fabulous velvet & feathered black hat in her wedding to my Great Grandpa in the 1920's. What goes around comes around!
