Not on her neck, but on her right arm. It was visible during the mid-credits. Not sure when/how she got it since it wasn't shown when she was stabbing El Cuco.

I bought a bag of this material to help combat maggots in the compost bin, but it doesn’t seem to work. :-( I sprayed the bin with red vinegar and then sprinkled the DE onto it, but it doesn’t seem to keep them away. (I suppose the vinegar must evaporate and fall to the bottom of the bin?) I use a generous amount and Read more

I will never cease to be amazed by how incredibly clever and witty some commenters can be! You’ve made my day. I’m having surgery tomorrow and feeling nervous so this was much-needed.:-) Read more

Last week or so, a fellow Jezzie reported that Miley and Liam came into the bookstore where she works to browse and buy stuff. (I believe this was down south maybe — Miley’s hometown perhaps? My celeb. trivia knowledge is reaching max levels so I don’t remember!) She said they seemed happy and normal and this was on Read more

Teddy shot him a few times in the premiere episode for S1 — this is when Dolores and Teddy return to her ranch home and find her parents killed. William shows up, Teddy tries to shoot him and he’s stunned when he can’t — William then shoots him and drags Dolores off to the barn.

I believe Teddy shot him a few times in the premiere episode of Season 1 (right before he drags Dolores into the barn.)

Thank you for this! I only heard about him yesterday and learned that it had already been stuck/lounging on the window ledge for almost two days without food and water. (I had no idea raccoons could climb vertically like that!!)

Thanks very much! From what I’ve read and learned, my part of the surgery shouldn’t be too, too taxing (it will involve a degree of pain, of course), but it’s a laparoscopic surgery so incisions should be kept to a minimum, hopefully. Apparently it’s a much tougher experience for the recipient, so I’m a little Read more

My 32-year-old brother had a heart transplant two years ago — at the time, his kidneys were on the brink of failing but still had some energy left to them. Doctors prefer to squeak out every possibly ounce left out of an organ before pursuing the transplant angle, but the medicines required to sustain an organ such as Read more

I was recently making small talk with my hairdresser about a scene from “Steel Magnolias”. My hairdresser is a lovely young woman, perhaps in her early 30s, but she did not get my reference at all, and politely commented that she had vaguely heard of the title (whereas I’ve watched it so many times that I speak the Read more

I’m planning on binge-watching Season 1 this weekend so as I do, I’ll be sure to keep this theory in mind! will report back (if my comment posts — kinja usually deletes them). :-)

Wasn’t there a scene in Season 1 during which Teddy was in the same exact position of having to either execute someone or let them go, and he chose the latter? I may be mistaken, but I thought that that’s why Dolores was so disappointed - because Teddy hasn’t shaken his original programming.

I confess that I haven’t actually watched Hometown, but last fall I found myself watching an episode of Fixer Upper during its regular programming. At the time, they were heavily promoting the yet-to-debut Hometown. I remember thinking that they were going with the Chip and Joanna formula here. Anyways, the very next Read more

It really, really does. I’ve just started following her on Instagram and yesterday she featured a story featuring her and her dad playing cards with Colin Quinn (and possibly Colin’s wife? Not sure who the other person was.) Either way, I was touched to see that her movie dad is real-life friends with her real dad. Read more

Reading this is making me teary-eyed. I’m so sorry to hear that, I really am. I can see how that would be the case.

Yeah, I know, it’s very bittersweet. I liked seeing that actor in that role (I only know him from The Wire), very different from that role.

This really made me laugh—i know!! He’s got a kinda high voice when he talks, but it’s perfect for music. But yeah, I looked up Krysten’s account on IG after someone mentioned it on this thread and she posted on his birthday (which happens to be the same day as mine.) I knew he was younger than me (5 years, to be Read more
