I’m fairly confident in saying Paltrow doesn’t know what Marvel movie she’s currently filming, what her scenes will be used for, or who is even in her scenes. And even if she did, why in the world would she be familiar with a character that she’s never interacted with and hasn’t been in any of her main Marvel movies?…

She might be a con artist but she’s not really a big part of the franchise, she’s usually only on with RDJ and not for more than maybe a 5 minute scene and there’s just no mannnny of these movies and so many actors... I’m getting dizzy just thinking about it.

She doesn’t know because it’s a pretty well known fact now that Marvel doesn’t tell people anything to keep spoilers from getting out.

It is 100% this. She is in Homecoming and Infinity War for about 30 seconds each and both of those scenes are with RDJ.

I suspect it's simply that she shoots her scenes for several of these assembly line Marvel movies, and when the films come out about 3 years later (after being thouroughly CGI’d), who can remember one from the next?
