The difference being she’s getting paid while the passengers are paying for the experience of not getting to their destination on time.
But the Targaryens who came from Old Valyria all those years ago conquered by being notoriously lenient with those who chose to support them, not by burning everyone, even the innocent. The Tyrells and the Tullys, for instance, are both in the positions they’re in because Aegon the Conqueror granted them their titles…

“Some folks really don’t understand that *foreshadowing is not the same as character development*. Like, just because you hint that something can happen in the future doesn’t mean you don’t have to do the leg work in the story to show how we arrive to that destination.”
Right, not in her eyes. So, she would have burned the city of Astapor, whose masters were attacking her, and innocent people would have suffered for it. But she didn’t burn Astapor after it surrendered to her. She didn’t burn Yunkai after it surrendered to her. And she didn’t have to be talked out of those decisions.…
“If you thought that turn on Game of Thrones felt rushed, surprising, or like it came out of nowhere...you haven’t been paying attention.”
This is all very apt, and well and good, but it still felt rushed, as has everything from Seasons 7-8. If they had been able to play out the back half of her arc with the pacing and subtlety that they applied to the front half, I suspect less people would be complaining.
You may have a point, but I’ve designed an ultra lightweight armor using the plot of the show itself.
Them: All I know is, if you’re gonna tell me that a child is going to travel the world for eight years training and learning to become a master fighter, I’ll tell you’re being ridiculous.

Subject (and strange choice of target for scorn) aside, this isn’t even an article. There’s no through line, no theory, no point you ever get to. It’s just a collection of quotes from people with no underlying theme to hold it together. What was your conclusion after listening to all these interviews and podcasts?…
You’re right that for many/most the spoiler isn’t a problem, but you’re missing out on how much FUN the secrecy is for people. They want to dig, they want to pry information out, they want the whole spectacular of the reveal. It’ll either be a surprise reveal in the actual movie, or it will be the hard-won reveal of…
Did you notice the $6.99 price before you commented?
Yea I think there is a very important discussion to be had about whistle blowing and almost cartoonish villainy leaking.
Yeah, what Manning and Snowden (who I have issues with given his relative silence on things like LGBT+ people being literally rounded up and killed in the country he resides in while preaching about US abuses) was whistleblowing in that they released specific information of public importance in a responsible manner.
What rhetoric? Are you fucking kidding? She’s pointing out basic objective facts and people are threatening to kill her. Who the fuck ungreyed you?
