I’ve spent time on the D4 forums and I can tell you. There’s no way you’re going to convince some people that the developers are not lazy, incompetent, money hungry scum of the earth that was pooped out of hell. Mostly because they can imagine the game being balanced in their heads -- somehow.

This just reminds me of all the Diablo 4 people before it released worrying about how long it takes to hit max level.  Then sweating it to level 100 so they could START playing the game and then lamenting that there is no game after level 100 and wanting refunds.  All the while ignoring everything they did before max…

It really feels like they’re testing a new payment model and how many idiotic people will still pay money for it like obscenely expensive skins in video games.  It sounds incredibly stupid and there are dummies that condone this behavior by giving them money anyways.

I can understand your exhaustion with the tree punching. But survival games are about resource and time management. If you take the time out of resource gathering you’re not left with anything anyways. It’d sorta be like taking jumping out of platformers... ?

The fact that there was so much copy and pasting of POIs to make your landing zones not entirely dreadfully boring was ironically immersion breaking in itself.
