I'm an animator myself and this is very impressive. Lots of great work in there. You're smart by saying they use of reuse animation and cycles. It reduces the owkr on the animators. I wouldn't be surprised if it was cleaned-up and colored by more people, much like the CG.
It's pretty smart how they handle it; there's loads of sequences where they hand-animate a character or two (or an effect) then duplicate them. Only they do it so well you only notice that if it's being pointed out that only two guys are working on the animation.
