The best (and only justifiable reason to use in media res) I think goes to the Rashomon/Vampire episode of the X-Files. Not only did it build tension at the get go, the story would have been impossible to tell if you didn't know where it needed to get to. Also, that episode was just brilliant.

I wanted JuJu to win before she even showed up in the first episode (she was damn near last and I was scared she wasn't going to included). Once they got into teams though, I changed my mind. I never liked Raven.

I think the problem with both Alexis and Yara being on All Stars is that they don't seem to have changed much since their season. All the rest of the queens have either polished their look and/or how they carry themselves, but both Alexis and Yara still look/act like they did in Season 3.

At fist the season made some much sense that I wasn't sure I'd be getting a ghost Christmas this year. But this episode instilled the belief that, yes Virgina, Ryan Murphy believes in alian-demon-mutant-claus.

If they knew there would be a weekly partner swap I bet (hope) Pandora would have put more effort in. It would also give us a chance to see some pretty spectacular pairings.

I agree that a little bit of Tammy goes a long way. I really loved her last week, but with all the airtime she got this week she was just grating. I know part of the reason these queens are on the show is to sell their acts, but she just went overboard pulling focus!
