What, no Deapool variant? I thought one was required for every Marvel comic book.

What was his character's name? I keep calling him Badger and I just realized I have no idea what his name was on Leverage.
The missing ingredient in making him everything wrong with 90's comics? Rob Liefeld.
It's also worth noting that while the review is talking about the most disappointing parts of the episode, it constantly makes references to the awesome gags related to each.
This is how I picture the writers room: the writers are sitting around playing video games and - "OH! we need to crank out tomorrow's episode!" 15 minutes later, "Grumpy cat is so funny."
I missed the joke the first time so I had to watch it again, and then come to the AV Club to have it explained (because I'm slow tonight…) So! I have to agree that it would have been better as a throwaway joke.
Didn't Nessie get her robot legs after being trampled in that episode where there was a random outdoor nightclub in the town square? I seem to remember something like that from an early season.
And the world weeps, because this is the Marvel roll Benicio Del Toro was born to play.
This is my favorite line of the night too, mainly because I'm picturing Ichabod believing that there's a place on the Amazon river that has access to, and ships you, anything you like. I also imagine him imagining a single building that's impossibly HUGE!
Does this mean we get a Thanksgiving episode next week? Complete with bear?
Awe, I always likes season 4. Overall it may have had the worst Big Bad, but it had most of my favorite moments.
There really is only one way to play it.
Really! It's only episode two. I fear the condition of his mental state by the end of the season.
I always enjoyed a good Sweet Cuppin' Cakes cameo. They arrived when they got their own menu page.
Every time I think about the soundtrack my mind starts singing:
While I mostly agreed with Phil's reviews, I never loved the tone. There are shows I love coming here to hate watch, but Supernatural was good at one time so watching new episodes felt more like a disappointment, not a joke.
To be a big enough dick to match, and possibly surpass, Chevy Chase's dickishness says all you need to know about Dan Harmon.
I stopped watching sometime in the first half of season one, but every once in a while I drop back in to see if it's gotten any better. Surprisingly it has, but it's still got a long way to go before I can stomach the plotting and dialogue more than once every few months.
Grey's has been on so long it feels like it's been several shows over the years. Even though it's an old show I can imagine that this year would be an okay to start regular reviews without the backlog.
My favorite segment is "Joe asks Gorden and Graham what they would do with the mystery box". Once they talk about what they'd make there's always this awkward pause, like you're waiting for Joe to say what he would do. Alas, Joe has nothing to offer…
