You don't mention the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode The Body? Seriously. The sheer mention of Buffy's mothers death is sufficient to cause some major emotions to bubble up.

This list should have included Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. He was suppose to have died at the end of season 1. But, he was so loved that he was brought back and was a mainstay of both Angel and Buffy.
