Yeah, I love birds of prey. I live in a city with a ton of trees and parks so they are all over the place but I've never seen one catch a bird in flight. (This was out in the country though.) I've also seen bald eagles many, many times but only once saw one actually take a fish out of the water. Nature is bad ass.

I saw a large hawk chase after and catch another bird mid-air above a farm field as I was cruising by on the highway. The smaller bird tried some pretty desperate evasive actions but it was of no avail. Never saw that happen before.
