@CBronsonSmile: I rolled it quite badly back in August. I tore a bunch of tendons and a few ligaments for good measure. After over 4 months it still isn't healed so I elected for the knife.

@Walk Off HBP: That's funny, I'll be just like a pro athlete. Actually, I want to try and go sauce-free for a while after. I'm shooting for 30 days to see if I can.

I just found out that I'm having ankle surgery in two weeks. I was also told today that work doesn't want me around while I'm on crutches which will be around 8 weeks I guess. I haven't had that kind of time off for over ten years. I have no idea what I'm going to do with myself. I think I need some hobbies, any ideas?

@See you suckers later: Have you visited the Estadio Olimpico or the Celinto Catayente Towers yet?

@Gottliebs Cards: Holy shit, does this piss me off. One of the few perks of my horrible, horrible job is that I get a spot right next to the building. Every single employee of the company that uses the spot next to me backs in but NONE of them can back in straight. NONE! Everyday I come in an have to maneuver my car

It makes me wonder if the cops knocked first.

@AustraliansDontDrinkFosters: Sorry, I just reread your comment. Has there really been a sense that an Australian could actually win it over the last few years over there? I'm not trying to be rude but that is pretty asinine. I'm just trying to be a realist. From what I've seen there are really only about 4-5 men (I'm

@AustraliansDontDrinkFosters: I can appreciate that. And not to be a dick, but that's probably not going to change anytime soon. I really don't care who wins since I'm not too into tennis and I just love that tournament. Of course, I'd like to see an American win something but that probably isn't going to happen

@Cyrus_the_virus: DC is Cold, huh? Try Wisconsin in Jan/Feb. But you're right, it takes some serious endurance to perform in that heat. I wilt like a day old banana in anything over 75.

@Walk Off HBP: I'm usually up late anyway. Been a night owl since I was a kid so it's perfect for me. I have no idea why I like it so much but I got hooked on it on ESPN a few years ago. The Australian crowd is pretty good as well.

Is anyone else excited for the Australian Open? I don't watch tennis any other time of the year (except maybe Wimbledon) but I love the Aussie Open. Something about watching a live sporting event played in 110° heat when it's the middle of the night and 10° here. I'll actually buy beer and snacks and stay up till 3 in

@ReverseApeChemist: Yes, I don't like pointing that out too often because everyone seems to hate them. The area around Lambeau is pretty crazy during games. I can only imagine what it would be like during a Super Bowl run.

Order has been lost! Chaos reigns supreme!

@vodkanaut: If my team is not in it, a low-key party at a buddy's house. All the guys are serious sports fans so it's pretty tolerable.

@Phintastic: BRETT FAVRE HAS A SMALL PENIS!!!

@Red Ned: I honestly don't know what I'd do if they were in the game. I would be a wreck, might have to watch from a rubber room.

Maverick Carter told him it was a good idea to hit on 17.

@Len Bias Cocaine Surplus: I just told him that I don't think he understands karma. I'm sure it will have quite an effect.

@Bevraj of Choice: I'll be sitting at the bar looking at my phone and friends will say to me "what's funny on Deadspin today?" I say "most of it, just fucking read it yourself." I don't care anymore but isn't it just infuriating when friends who you know will like something won't take your advise. It's like a few
