Lemon is the best Starbust.

Let me get this straight.

That Jezel article is pretty venomous and makes the argument that Harbour is complicit in a culture of sexual harassment. Do you really think that’s a fair take when the only thing he’s done wrong is fumble an answer about a brand-new name for a legal fund to help harassment victims?

Holy Christ, can we fucking stop shitting on people for not being “woke” enough for like 5 minutes? Unless he does/did something stupid, find a new hobby.

I’d never heard of it and still don’t know what it is. I can guess, but I couldn’t give an articulate answer either.

he showed fairly blithe disregard for sexual assault survivors

I feel like at this point if you’re in Hollywood and you don’t know how big an issue sexual assault is, you’re probably being pretty blithe about the subject.

smug, sanctimonious keyboard warriors trolling and monitoring their every action like crazed stalkers

Time’s Up was announced January 1.

Meh, it’s not like she’s Tom Brady who refused to shake Eli Manning’s hand before the SB and it’s not like she’s Bill Belichick who stormed off the field without congratulating the Giants for winning the SB. And she certainly wasn’t complicit with l someone trying to take out Oksana’s kneecap beforehand.

I don’t think the billboard guy forgives the racist cop. He gives him some orange juice when they find themselves in the same hospital room, but a small act of kindness toward someone who’s wronged you isn’t necessarily forgiveness.

The movie wasn’t really about racism or violence, it was about anger. Most of the actions taken by the two leads were driven by anger, and any perceived redemption arc for either character was about them learning to let go of their anger, though the movie ends before it’s clear whether or not the lessons they learned

It’s really hard to critique a movie and it’s message when you haven’t actually seen it.

Agreed. There was no redemption for any character. All of this criticism doesn’t really resonate with me.

The amount of people here saying “I haven’t seen the movie yet, but here’s what I think about it” is embarrassing.

So we just have to bitch about everything now, huh? That’s fun.

So, we complain about the trend of movies bowing to audience expectations, and then we slam movies for not being as woke (or the wrong kind of woke) as we expect them to be?

I bet it took you a very long time to type this blog.

One of my most vivid memories of these awards is gonna be Franco straight up body-checking the subject of his performance away from the mic so that he could imitate the guy’s voice one more time.
