You know that Gawker Artists creepy blonde boy eating eyeballs giving you a "Bitch please." look? Yea that was beneath this headline and it was Awesome.

Don't worry, they keep a stash of supersoakers just in case.

I'm starting to think that the Ideal Heteronormative Relationship (given the framing of the article) is a lot like how all your facebook friends have so much more fun than you do.

*SPOILERS* But she never had the understanding that we the audience had. She not only never knew why, but she never learned the truth. Eric never explained to her why he insists he's her father, Hanna believed the google search results that she was abnormal and the CIA cover that Eric killed her mother, and he was

I thought that too, and (to me) it gave her a whole nother dimension. I interpreted that as she was unable to have children even if she wanted (side effects or something), and that made her both pitiable and her actions understandable.

Cate Blanchett scared me to no end in this film! And I won't ever be able to look at Mr. Collins the same way again either...

I loved this movie, even though it filled me with a sort of on-edge sadness. I think I was slightly disturbed by the (Spoilers?) lack of resolution for her - the lack of answers. But on the other hand, think that that was one of the points. Either way, I want that song they were singing in Spain!

I would argue that feminists have less libido because so many other people keep trying to get all up in our uteri. I know I get all hot and bothered when strangers try to take away my reproductive freedoms.

I'm so excited that I don't know if I can be trusted to frame a coherent comment. Also, Suomessa! Niin kivä!

Does anyone else notice that that bully is actually bigger than the principal?

Ya, but were the sticks smaller than their thumbs?

They just don't have enough sisu to like it.

They're still tuxedo cats if they happen to be red, right? Yes! They're just still living in the 70s!

So...people will judge you when you wear makeup, and people will judge you when you don't wear makeup. Thank goodness that was cleared up. (Yes, there's a skin pun in there)

The danger of legalizing polygamy is that women become scarce resources, which leads to their commoditizaton. That's not to say that this doesn't exist in current society (the commoditization of women is at the root of patriarchy) rather that this process is accelerated and amplified under polygamous systems.

And here I'd been fuming over the Minneapolis archbishop repremanding a local parish for gasp letting a female with an MA in theology preach. I was raised Catholic and I remain Catholic, but these types of holdovers from the middle ages just drive me nuts.

Sorry I yelled at you, kid who answered Chip AssCraack's phone, but god dammit. Thank God for Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken.

And here I thought my "I'm a gun-owning feminist for the same reason: I love my freedom and I'm willing to fight for it!" sticker was just to blow conservatives' minds. Hm, I think I need a better metaphor.

Did you hear about the kiosks set up and run by doctors to write sick notes for the protesters? No disciplinary action can be taken against a union member with a qualified doctor's note, and as the kiosk doctors said, the reason doesn't matter. "A lot of the union protesters appear to be suffering from stress."

I'd heart you for such a perfectly placed gif if I could!
