Captain Jeffrey Sinclair...He ended the Battle of the Line.
Exactly!!!
I agree completely. For me, there is no better superhero film than Spiderman 2. Alfred Molina's Doc Oc was note perfect and the film as a whole was (as is often said about Dark Knight) a superior film, not just a superior superhero film. I believe it was why I was so let down by S3 (more than I was let down by DKR).
I agree. We don't get many portents from the various deities these days that can scare the norms like a good old fashioned comet. GodLabs(tm) would really want to shake things up if they make Ison shine brightly in the daytime sky.
So Captain Jack wasn't invited to the 50th, so the Arrow folks gave us yet another John Barrowman character that has immortal qualities.
Which I'm totally good with. I'll take all the John Barrowman I can get.
I had to go to driving school in Hollywood years ago along with a friend of mine. About 30 minutes in, we both realized the bearded fellow across from us was the Last Starfighter himself, Lance Guest. It turns out he was good friends with another actor that my friend and I had done a lot of stage work with and we got…
I would love this a lot. Excalibur is one of my top ten of all time. I directed The Tempest last year and scored it with many of Trevor Jones excellent pieces from the soundtrack. While the lack of Williamson would make it a lesser thing, I would still love to see more of that version of the romances and that version…
I'm very jealous of you and your celebrity elevator encounter. I've only ever been in elevators with director Keith Gordon and a very young and bearded Kyle Maclachlan, whom I loved dearly at the time and could only sputter out the words, "You're Kyle Maclachlan."
The Earth's gravity machine stopped working.
Does the ampersand count as a word?
It saved her foot for last.
Methinks this is a dog, not a cat.
I had a cute house there for awhile. I loved being up by the mountains.
Do you know what else films in Tujunga? Sons of Anarchy (because of its more sketchy aspects I suppose).
E.T. was filmed in Tujunga, CA. In Charlie's Angels, when Drew Barrymore falls down the hill, she is seen outside of the same house.
Perhaps it is Kitty Pryde training in the Danger Room (Uncanny X-Men Issue #141)?
Keep pumping and blowing...thank you for that song in my head.
Because OuaT is known for its amazing visual effects. Didn't you see? There was a picture of a pegasus on the sail (ceci n'est pas un pegasus). They must have worked day on that.
I was running a Call of Cthulhu game at Orccon in L.A. back in the early 90's where one of the characters available to the group was a ringer (she was a "librarian" who was actually the leader of the cult the group was investigating). The ringer's "job" in the game was to convert as many of the other PCs as possible.…
He threw the map in the river. So here's what you do. Walk along the river until it meets a bigger river and keep heading towards inevitable civilization.
But the movie's biggest fault is that it does not obey the laws of filmmaking. Having shot on Super-16, I know that the biggest magazine is going to give you 800…
I just watched Room 237. My crazy theories must be true!
