I love that series so much. As with so many other Phil Foglio projects, I really wish someone would get around to collecting it into book form. I've got the issues in a box in a closet somewhere, but it's not nearly so accessible.

For what it's worth, I never saw her response to him as "I'll take you back if you leave your kingdom." To me it reads more as "I know full well your answer hasn't changed, so why would you think mine has changed?" She is, in a gentle way, saying "You were an idiot back then, and you're an idiot now."

For years, we did have a tech staffer sitting in our area who wore a gray cat-ear hood at work nearly all the time. Not sure whether he was a furry or trying to express his emotions and the non-robo-ears weren't quite doing it.
