Wait, Rosebud is a salad? Was it a tasty salad?

Here's my issue with the ending, the only part of the film I didn't thoroughly respect and enjoy: I just don't buy Washington's sudden reversal, his abrupt decision to do the hard thing instead of keeping his mouth shut and letting the easy thing happen. I can see many reasons why a man in his position might finally

I admit I'm afraid of sending people in with overly high expectations, which never helps a film. But on the scale we try to grade by, the "Does this film try to do something interesting, and then does it succeed at what it tries to do," it's a solid A, and I've got to respect that.

Um, the tentacles open the door for him and he walks through. I don't see the issue here.

I dunno, @LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus . There's dog people yammering about their dogs. Particularly the kind of people who think of their dogs as the kids they didn't have. And there's people yammering about their dreams. Don't get me wrong, I'm a cat person with a cat, and I don't want to hear other people's totally

There's also just such a beautiful poetic justice to that fate. He committed atrocities against something beyond the human world in order to force inspiration, so Morpheus rewards him with more inspiration than a human mind can handle.

My boyfriend at the time was reading along issue by issue, and reading the letter columns and subsidiary stuff as well, until he got to the letter column one issue after "Dream Of A Thousand Cats," which he described as featuring a bunch of letters in the vein of "My kitty doesn't have to dream anything special to

Man, I like George R.R. Romero, but will he EVER finish that next film?

Let me just be clear that I think Jones is a master, and this tries to do something very similar, but isn't up to her level. For me, as a longtime Jones fan, the style of this book seemed very similar, but I wouldn't put it up there with her work.

I wondered if that was happening! Do people bring it back and mention that they're confused what all the fuss is about, because they read the whole thing and didn't find any spanking scenes at all?
