I'm actually looking forward to seeing Vic again because Michael Mando has actually done a very good job playing him. Even from the early days, despite all his faults you could see he was quite distraught when he thought Sarah was dead and it's easy to forget because we never saw it that Sarah also wasn't a very nice

Helena's quite the joker, isn't she?

I got the distinct impression that Helena wanted Sarah to find her by the fact she laid a trail for them to follow to find her. Even then, she still had plenty of time to pull the trigger before they got there. I think she was putting Sarah into a position where she had to admit how she felt about her one way or

It's never said out loud lest they risk spooking the US TV market so the belief goes. However we clearly see such things as Paul's flight itinerary in the first episode showing him arriving at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

I only watch two shows. This one and seemingly ridiculously an MTV show called Faking It (because I read a review here that caught my interest). Because it amuses me, I like to believe they happen in the same universe.

To mash up Short Circuit and Battlestar Galactica:

I guess we'll see with the next episode but I thought that unlike previously, there was less manipulation and more genuine affection this time. Also, I think Helena's onto this, not only because she said so but because she laid a trail for them to find her before she fired and forced Sarah to make a decision. I have

I'm still aggrieved that Hannibal's never been fed through an industrial wood chipper. I don't know how he has such a fan club, I just find him repellent.

Hey, I'm a big supporter of Paul. He just doesn't seem to be that popular with the masses. I'm still hoping he's secretly helping from the inside. He has done so in the past at great personal risk to himself so he might do so again.

I know but it seems like the more obvious route (killing her off). If jerks like Hannibal can get away with what they do time after time (and I don't even like him at all because he's so smug just for starters), I can't see why she can't.

I hope this doesn't act as a downer for you but Paul is a left handed person as well.

You can make arrangements to continue your PhD as fieldwork or at a new location in certain circumstances if the arrangements between your university and wherever you're going is acceptable to your thesis supervisors. Dyad is supposed to be state of the art, so I would imagine it's possible to have wrangled something

I blame Stephen Harper.

I could see a future for the show where Helena is wounded again and dies in Sarah's arms. They'll contrast it to the circumstances at the end of Season 1 where Sarah has grown to love the sister she tried to kill so much that she will be devastated. It'll be the greatest dramatic scene ever filmed. It'll win all the

They aren't allowed to say it out loud but they don't try very hard to hide the fact it's Toronto. Case in point, Mrs S.'s driver's licence clearly reads "150 Scotsburn Avenue, Toronto." which is one of the clearest indications of location yet.

Now I hope you're not suggesting anything bad about our Katja now are you?

I haven't got many definite ratings for the show's episodes as such yet, just that last season's episode 7 would be higher than a C+ given here for me, the mere fact that scene in the diner with Helena and Sarah exists earns it at least some sort of B. As for that season as a whole, still tossing up whether it's a B+

Not touching this thread with a barge pole except to say I thought the book Disclosure by Michael Crichton was very good. It does raise a number of these issues about the power imbalance in the workplace and is best used to consider the situation from a number of different angles but not to draw a definite conclusion

Even for someone with that level of seeming self control, I have no doubt Helena would put Rachel into therapy assuming she survives the experience in the first place.

It's a nice, understated performance of Matt Frewer's that has slipped into the background. Shows you how remarkable the show is in general if they can distract you from as good an actor as Matt Frewer of all people as they sneak his very important role past your attention for the best part.
