Nope; remember, when the Night’s Watch went north of the Wall before, they took ravens with them for this exact purpose. It was, as you will remember, Samwell’s one job - to send them.
Both Uber and Lyft saturated the city with deceptive, dishonest material prior to the vote, then threatened to take their balls and go home if the city didn’t give them everything they wanted. They won’t get a thin red cent of my money.
The whole “oh my god the cars are alive what does this MEEEEAAANNN” joke stopped being funny a long time ag...actually it was never really funny at all.
You should read about the Moscow apartment bombings that launched Vladimir Putin into power.
Serious question: as massive an explosion as this was, how could they possibly know that it was set off by a worker with a brass chisel? Wouldn’t everyone within a pretty significant radius have been killed in the blast?
Yup, this. I’ve never been able to get my local files to appear in Spotify.
Huh. They did the same thing 20 years ago in Babe and it was just fine.
I just purchased a pair of the Cloud II’s for use with my XBox One. I’ve found the sound quality to be great, though as I had been warned the surround is not really like a real surround system - but that’s tricky with a headset format. I’m happy with my purchase with one exception - I’ve got a pretty big head, and…

I came here to say this. You have said it.
Really? In the pulp - the remnants of the juicing that are usually discarded or composted...
I think you’re confusing juicing, which absolutely does remove material in the form of the pulp, with making smoothies, in which the entire fruit or vegetable is pulverized and mixed.
I haven’t seen so much as a screenshot of some of the characters played by different actors. Surprising!
I’ve heard this concern raised over juicing, since it removes the fiber that regulates the rate at which the sugar hits your bloodstream. That’s not an issue with smoothies, which keep the fiber.
To me one of the best examples of the unnecessary bloatedness of many (most?) of the changes happened after the confrontation between Vader and Luke in Empire - after hacking his son’s hand off and telling him he’s his father, only to have Luke choose to fall to his death (maybe?) Vader walks away and rumbles angrily…
Okay, this is weird but just now I was watching a Metroid fan film that is making the rounds, and noticed this onscreen display:
Blade Runner and Alien use the same on-screen graphics - in Alien, when the Nostromo is separating from the refinery and in Blade Runner when the Spinner is taking off:
Is there anyone who actually believes the “five second rule” is really a thing? That is, an actual scientific rule rather than an excuse to eat something that fell on the floor?
I was 14 when I saw this:
I was actually going to comment on this very thing - my downstairs detector is sitting on a table in my dining room because it’s so close to the kitchen that I can’t cook anything on the stovetop without it going off. I don’t feel good about having it disconnected but I need to be able to make dinner!
