It was such a gut punch seeing what happened to Ben when I saw it for the first time. He ended up making it through the night while everyone else around him dead. In the end, he was shot and killed by the police officers. It went to still pictures as they disposed of his body. The hooks they used was a striking image…

Good piece, Kelly - used to buy comics every week - heavy on Archie but would buy more pulpy stuff when I could find it (and hide it).

I definitely do prefer to the new style, but goddamn I wish artists would, like, branch away from it for a bit. A lot of art is getting same-y, especially with the male protagonists. I suppose, however, that that's just anime in general, and each art really pops out in its own way. At least most times.
