I’ve often thought about a 70 with a 71 or 72 bumper. The front end of the 70 with the twin headlights looks better than the single large headlights and massive turn signals of the 71 and 72, but the rectangle tail light isn’t as good looking as the twin tailights.

Agreed on all points.

I’ll have the same, but could you make mine a 68-72, emphasis on the 7o though. The fastback body Chevelles were so much sexier.

If it runs and drives depending on the rest of the condition that’s not too terrible as long as its mostly surface rust. $2k is basically fud it beater money for anything running and driving,a beater pickup commands a little more. He might be like $1k - $700 off depending on a few factors.

Exactly this. Why put all the effort into upgrading and polishing this turd if you had no intention of keeping it. Everyone who ever puts on massive knobby tires lies about what it does to the vehicle. Ever heard one going down the interstate? If I can hear it in my car as you drive by the noise in the cabin has to be

No one has ever said V8s aren’t still relevant. Every manufacturers best selling light duty pickup comes with a V8. Ford has only made V6s that can compete with a V8 on power, while providing better fuel economy. Every manufacturer has always made light duty pickups with V6s. You would be surprised how many 4.0L, 4.3L,

This!

They actually built and sold a few before they went belly up. I occasionally see one out and about. I used to live in Kenner, LA (New Orleans) a few years back and someone who lived in that area had one and drove it.

The Mustang was maybe a year behind the Camaro in doing the exact same thing, and those engines were long in development before the Camaro came out.

I guess maybe because it started production last decade which some of these did, but how is the VR38DETT from the GT-R not here?

It doesn’t look all that terrible to be honest.  It looks like it is also a directional pad so you could maybe use it with an onscreen keyboard.  That and it is way harder to reach out to a touchscreen on a dash while driving to do anything.  This at least fall into a natural resting position for your hand.

Only the V8s and big diesels are that bad in the Ford lineup. The EcoBoosts are all better than 20 on the highway. The Explorer runs the same 2.3 I4 EcoBoost in the Ranger and Mustang which is easily capable of 25MPG+ (34 highway in the Mustang city driving really kills the economy 24-25) and those are not small cars.

The Fusion had a different transmission.

Ford adopted a global strategy with the Fusion/Mondeo basically making it the same car all over the world. Since sedans are still the norm in Europe they did develop a replacement, along with the Fiesta and Focus, but decided to kill them all off in America. The only one I think that was left as an American only was

The R33 may be the least loved of the 3, but that’s like saying a T-bone is the least loved between ribeye and porterhouse, you’re still getting delicious steak.

I’m just not feeling this.  I don’t really care what you spent on mods, those don’t add much appreciable value to me. Then it comes down to nearly $14k for an 18 year old lumbering behemoth and I just don’t like that price it seems high.  CP

It had to be expensive as crap to cut that thing up and have all of that custom body work done.  Surely someone somewhere could have fixed whatever might have been wrong.  That’s like someone attractive getting bad plastic surgery.

CP solely because you would have to explain what it was and then explain why it looks like such a crappy version of that. Most people would probably think you were trying to build a Batmobile replica, but you forgot what the Batmobile actually looked like or didn’t have the skills to do a good job.

Diego is a massive jackass, I’ve seen him on here before, he’s just a troll who likes to be contradictory.

Huh? Sounds like they planned it fine. There were charging stations between origin and destination in case they needed to top up, but as is the worry charging infrastructure is a mixed bag and estimated range is usually BS.
