You’ve mistaken a Marxist for a Stalinist. Read a book.

And another Watchmen quote seen in the wild this morning. Robert George pointed out that for those of you who believe that AOC is not capable of taking over the Democratic party, she did it 35 minutes ago. Sorry, the copy and paste and the screen shot don’t want to work.
Another Bronx voice heard from here. I’m an old white guy. I’m a veteran. I’m a supporter of Ocasio-Cortez.
Yeah, definitely digging Carol and Nick smart-assing each other. The delivery isn’t great, but it’s a trailer, they’ll polish it up for the movie. That last exchange was spot on.
Very Carol Corps. I want.
How to disagree with the description of the original movie without spoiling... I mean, it’s a really old movie, and there’s probably not a lot of concern, but still, there’s people who haven’t seen it.
I think the Doctor has been deliberately mispronouncing Tim Shaw’s name to wind him up, the way the Doctor called Mickey “Ricky” back in the Eccleston season for the same purpose.
I am in. I am so in. I got chills with “I’m going to end it”, and then Fury’s a cat guy and that was just ... yeah, I’m in.
To be fair, in the actual episode, Gar said “I bit him”. Whether he swallowed any of the guy is left uncertain. He did however have a lot of blood running down his chin.
Funny enough, my line developer blog for the 1879 roleplaying game, that posts this coming Sunday at fasagames.com, deals with the same issue as portrayed in the cartoon: the difference between a mad scientist and a pissed-off engineer. I cite a few characters as examples. Entrapta would have been a really good one to…
Not actually worker owned. The employees are not receiving direct ownership, but rather becoming beneficiaries of a trust that actually owns the stock. This looks like a bit of legal fiction designed to keep the studio from being acquired, rather than proper worker ownership of the means of production.
I want to know what happened to the girl that Raven helps save. Is that Celsius being created?
Bradley Walsh doesn’t get enough credit. He’s a much better actor than people seem to think he is. Law and Order: UK gave him room to grow, and he ran with it - carried the series through the usual L&O changes of cast and gave his character a world-weariness that rang so very true. When he was cast as a companion,…
Be the person Fred Rogers knows you can be.
Go see http://iww.org for the Industrial Workers of the World. They organize across industries rather than along trade lines, so that the theater owner can’t pit the carpenters’ local against the actors’ union. The only reason I’m no longer IWW is I got promoted up into management. I still believe in unions.
This looks amazingly over-the-top insane, like the last couple of Chinese fantasy movies I’ve seen. Making popcorn. I’m in.
SPOILER:
#6 was The Horror, and he’s dead at the beginning of the comic.
Shameless self promo: If you like Scum & Villainy, check out FASA’s 1879, which is kind of steampunk Shadowrun. Clockwork mainframe computers, elves in British high society, dwarves flying airships, and trolls in the rough streets of the East End. It may be the late Victorian era, but firms still need slightly…
Speaking as a roleplaying game designer, SGX does not understand cooperative roleplay. His actions are classic broflake tactics. Playing a villain in a consensual RP environment is one thing. Playing a villain when the other players are not cool with it is quite another, and I sure as hell wouldn’t allow it at my table…
