Well that makes it ok then :-) I fondly remember the 4-day work week foretold in the 80’s
Us between the ages of 45 and 54 are a pretty sad bunch right now. There was such promise and ... pffft. Nothing.
The waiter only discovered they were driving after stepping out to inquire about the tip.
This could easily be fake, or if real, the drink name can easily be called something else (like “delicious”!). Real or fake, it’s a call for trouble. Grow up.
Solid point, and what makes this story especially BCO worthy was how the beaten-up/down stoner delivery guy had to guide the robbers to his fanny pack, where the cash was.
I was happily left in a library as a child, but I was a well-behaved bookworm and at least 8, not 4! Thank god for responsible people like you keeping an eye out for these kid’s well-being beyond the call of duty.
That zinc cream for babies is the best lip balm, it’s just amazing. Can’t wear much in public because it’s white, but it’ll heal the chappiest lips in the harshest winters.
I didn’t watch the video, I’m a mom, but this particular mom must be in on it because this is a sick, sick SICK premise. Anybody who’s an actual parent would just fall to their knees and wail incoherently after seeing their kid being blown up.
I hate that sing-along scene too. It seemed awkwardly old-fashioned even then and came across like the actors hated it too. I’ve seen the movie about 5 times and my expressions of dislike for that scene were met with “are you kidding, it’s the best part of the movie”. Hmm, no.
I’ve never been able to finish this movie. I tried watching it again about 8 months ago because I figured it couldn’t be as bad as I remembered, but it was. So boring...
Life in Pieces, just awful. Tuned in twice to give it a chance, lasted 10 and 2 minutes respectively. So bad, it excels at teaching what not to do in a sitcom situation.
1992 was 23 years ago so yeah, “those days” is legit, but it feels weird to me too. Probably because not much has changed except technology. In contrast, consider how much social change occured between 1962 and 1985.
and doesn’t provide measures for pre-natal care and a roof for pregnant women to facilitate adoption options nor does it provide post-natal care and support to mothers who have to work. Basically condemns those who want abortions to deal with illegal shady proceedings and life endangerment. 2015, folks!
How about replying things like “ you got it, daddy-o”.
Well, that’s a massive step backward. What’s next, denying women the right to vote? I’m amazed that people who are elected to positions of power can be so stupid. I’m in Canada, but doesn’t Planned Parenthood provide much more than abortions, like birth control and treatment for STDs?
I’m amazed the heads are flying so high! BCO must receive loads of material to sift through if any of that is taken seriously as acceptable restaurant behavior. The first phrase can grab you but the rest... sigh.
If I didn’t know it was a joke, I would have stopped a little before, at “make sure to give your server lots of instructions” ;-) But so agree with you about well-done steaks.
Someone needs to get their privilege checked.
People act as if being a mother is an automatic sacred state or something, but it’s really an attitude. Plenty of women have given birth who weren’t really mothers to their children. Cattrall is saying that she’s a mother to those who are younger; it’s an attitude and a way for her to communicate the motherly feelings…
