That comment made me laugh and I also understand your dilemma.
Actresses often have oily/shiny/glittery legs on talk shows and i find it quite odd and distracting. So to me, the leg part of the sketch made me lol + glad I’m not the only one that notices the “shiny talk show leg phenomena”. The rest of the sketch was also spot on.
Step 1: get wife kicked in head by horse; step 2: get her to insane asylum. Way to go, 1864 to 1889.
The movie is rated “G” in my area!* So... guess I shouldn’t take my 5 year-old son?
Hoping Agent Carter gets a 2nd season, stat! I just loved that series: fast-paced, keeps you guessing, great cast and action, fun premise...
The cherry on top of these A-hole sundaes: when you don’t respond to their douchebagery, they get pissed off at you for not being the idiot they were hoping you’d be. So glad I married a nice guy!
I was sold in advance given he’s played by Enver Gjokaj... sigh.
oh, Halo is only 1.5 secs at 0:37.
Did I miss Halo? I don’t to rewatch the whole thing again, but it was fun video. All 4 parts are seamless, great job.
Fantastic episode yesterday. That sketch with T.Fey, JLD and P.Arquette was such a treat. Amy Schumer is giving a voice to my “feminist” musings, and far more eloquently and light-heartedly than I ever could!
Great response! Not only is this person implying superior qualifications, but also superior genetics, a remarkable feat. I’m probably just jealous because I wish I could start a sentence with “I’m a legacy...”
I don’t think it’s a fair statement to say that if a one-year old doesn’t like stories, it’s because the parents are doing it wrong. A six-year old, sure, but babies and toddlers enjoy different activities and have different rates of growth.
I admit, I found that result pretty funny. And oddly accurate, hmmm.
I think she’s looking for guys close to her own age, though she doesn’t exactly say that. She stated that she’s hearing from guys who are 10, 15, even 25 years older than her.
Pretty sure I would have laughed too, though I doubt I would’ve called other teachers in. Maybe the group of teachers was already nearby. Great story, fun ending.
To most women, one month after the wedding is still the honeymoon + it makes for a better turn of phrase :-)
I’m fine with a hologram representation of a recorded concert, which I find similar in idea to a 3D film, but programming new moves and recordings is just bizarre. If the artist never recorded (and therefore never participated/agreed), I find it very disrespectful. It’s like their physical representation is merely a…
It took me all of 3 months to get pregnant at age 41 for the first time, and everything went super smoothly. Significant difference between 41 and 46, but after teen girls, women in their 40s account for most unplanned pregnancies, because they don’t realize that it’s still very possible.
So agree, like Melissa McCarthy needs to endanger her health for a mediocre sitcom like Mike & Molly (which she makes tolerable) when her movie career is doing so well. Although given the source material, it’s probably not even true!
