I always liked Mark Ruffalo's ode to the Clash in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It's such an earnest and relaxed attempt to share something he holds dear with someone he desperately wants to be compatible with, and it's completely relatable when it falls completely on deaf ears.
