People pretending to take him seriously is what normalizes his criminal and basic bitch behavior. I respect their making it a point not to participate.

I still haven’t watched this yet, but now you both have me curious.

Yeah, I can’t help but think that, look, Hillary Clinton did some great things in her time in public life. Not least of which was hoovering up an absolute crapload of fire from the right that might have been spread at lots of other women public figures. We all, even privileged white male gits like me, owe Hillary

I saw a woman respond to Tlaib’s apology thread on Twitter who called her behavior deplorable. “You realize you’d be nowhere without @HillaryClinton,”

Holy shit, I may just be done with political discourse for the day. That someone actually put their fingers to the keys to type out such inane fuckery as this. WTF. Do

In a manner that can only be described as Obama-lite, Buttigieg infused enough perfectly timed smiles and soaring rhetoric to convince the casual viewer that his policy platform wasn’t simply a bland, moderate agenda in a youthful package.

He has certainly recruited as many Obama 08 campaign alumni as possible, and it

This made it sound a lot more mysterious than it is. There’s not even anything subtle about it.

9. Tulsi should have been ranked above Amy just on her name alone. “Tulsi” sounds like she named after a grandma with Oklahoma connections. Plus that grey streak in her hair gives her style points over Amy K’s Midwestern Bob cut.

Yes, yes...the critics are correct. They should have been acting appropriately like the True Patriot who *checks notes* was using his/her camera during the national anthem to record some crowd shots...

No I really don’t see how they’re incongruous thoughts.

She actually probably is a pretty good person to make this argument given that a lot of the voters who might be inclined to not vote for the Democratic candidate are also inclined to take her seriously. I’m not sure what a factual thing she said a few weeks ago about the weirdness of the two party system has to do

She’s probably not the ideal person to make that argument given that she was saying not even a month ago that the Democratic party was too big of a tent.

I understand why she apologized but it makes me sad as hell that she felt like she had to. This is just ridiculous. Why does Clinton get to say whatever and Tlaib can't? Naw.

As someone who is not a Sanders supporter at all, my god do I wish Clinton would shut the fuck up already. My question is, does she honestly think she’s helping?

I think the statement from Tlaib today should have been “I was saying ‘Boo-urns’”

Sometimes Murkowski wins the drawing. Sometimes it’s Paul. McCain was granted the privilege a few times.

Collins’ name wasn’t even drawn. Mitch gave her his blessing so she can tell Maine “oh I tried but what could I do? not enough votes lol” in a craven attempt to retain her seat.

And that’s how they fool you into thinking some of them are ‘reasonable’: Collins -didn’t- do the right thing. Her name was just the one drawn from the hat to “appeal to the moderate Democrat”

The republican party hates democracy, has shredded the Constitution and is willing to commit treason to hold on to their stolen minority rule.

Murkowski even voted to table! And she was one of those ‘good ones’ that the wonks thought was on the side of law and order!

A lot has been said about the aircraft operating with a ‘special’ clearance (SVFR). If you listen to the ATC tape you’ll hear ATC advise 72EX (Kobe’s pilot) that the Burbank airport surface area (where the aircraft is currently operating) is IFR (under instrument flight rules/bad weather), and then he says ‘say
