From Fahey’s article I bought Indivisible. It’s very charming but I haven’t gotten the rhythm of the battle system yet, there’s just SO much to consider! It feels like I’m playing a pared down Tales game but controlling all 4 party members.

I play Showdown...far too much. It’s my go-to “5 minute browser gaming itch” solution. I don’t keep up too much with the meta nowadays (I used to be in those Smogon forums every day) so popping in for a random battle is so great once you understand the Poke-metagame.
For the life of me I’ve known exactly one person that likes (not prefers, but can enjoy eating) those Milky Way/“fluffy-chocolate” candies. To each their own, but let’s say, we all know we’d take that out...what’s next?
Of all things Apple would get right, Gaming was very far down my prediction list.
Cup Noodles bar none. It’s the most comforting thing I can eat, and it’s always humbling. Always had them at home (thank you Costco 24-packs), helped us stretch out funds phenomenally. My mother used to take it out of the cup (we didn’t use the cheaper packs for some reason?), boil it and add veggies/meats, serve it in…
I’ve had a donut burger in SF before. A heart attack for sure, but good (think a touch more sugary and fancy than a McGriddle. Restaurant is called Straw).
I currently work at a Sperm Bank (I’m the Donor Manager), and we’ve had to amend all our confidentiality forms to say something along the lines of “we recommend you do not do DNA testing like 23andme as offspring can find out about you. If you do, that’s up to you, but we take no responsibility as we’ve done our best…
Alright, I’ll give on this — after some Googling it looks like blue rice (from butterfly-pea flowers) is a thing in South Thailand/Malaysia. My family is from Northeast Thailand and had no clue when I asked them about it. I personally haven’t been south.
I think Karamo moved to last with some recent stuff (calling Sean Spicer a “good guy” and such, which brought attention to his Real World takes). So I’d think in order:
I’m pro-Sivan on this one. Is Bloom a bottoming-anthem? Absolutely. But, for any of the non-gays in the comment-sphere, bottom-shaming is such a huge thing, especially for someone as high profile as Troye is.
Came to say, thanks for reminding me about Octopath Traveler’s AMAZING soundtrack. I choked up a little just thinking about it, and have my work music set for the day.
100% fried rice.
FFX-2. The first time I played it, I got stuck on one of the final bosses because I might’ve rushed my playthrough, vastly underleveled, and I just could not beat it.
Hello, I am a Thai person that was a monk for 2 years (I did this in California in early 2000s and 2014, was a familial/religious rite of passage)!
OH MY GOD!!!
My birthday fell on the weekend Disneyland holds “Gay Days” (me and most of my friends are queer). I booked a 3 bedroom AirBnB next to the park and started organizing with friends about 3 months beforehand. The deal was “find a way to LA and get a Disneyland ticket, and I’ll handle the rest”.
Master should’ve been called like, “Hybrid” or “Special” classes. Some of them are direct upgrades (like Great Knight, Falcon Knight, Wyvern Lord), but yeah most are kinda wonky. Advanced classes are perfectly viable endgame goals.
DCUO was one of my top MMOs, I played it exclusively on PS3. It was really refreshing from WoW and it’s 30 abilities and spells and things to keep track (oh the HUD haunts me).
