Since when has anyone ever accused Gearbox of doing its ‘Due Diligence’. Just look at their recent history with games like Duke Nukem and Aliens and then try to accuse Gearbox of doing its due diligence.

From the company that brought you Aliens: Colonial Marines and Duke Nukem Forever.

Or, maybe you just have comprehension issues and feel like throwing a fit over realizing it.

Clearly you did not read the article.

It also helps if you read the article before you comment.

THIS all day

The WSJ has its own YT channel with 25k videos. Most people would consider this as proof of it making YT part of its business strategy, but reporting about PewDiePie making anti-semitic jokes clearly shows the WSJ is trying to take YT down.

Saw this play out over on Reddit this weekend. I really dislike this trend of moving the goalposts instead of just admitting the mistake. This seems to be a trend among the youtubers- Admit fault and amend with a BUT...

Never watched it but this definitively proves she is an asshole. Having waited tables in college and dealing with a smattering of crap like this I can think of no scenario where she’s not a miserable person. She’s the type of person who gets visited by the ghost of Christmas future.

because she has an accent and someone put her in a dress to announce things other people will do.

She may be good at hosting a TV program, but delightful people do not act like this. It is time to reassess.

But... but... that’s a low bar.

you run me, and I give you gold: OK! you run me and I give you $50: Not OK! Blizzard doesnt want players making real money from their game. You can turn your gold to blizzard currency, which then can be used for other games. but you cannot turn your time to cash which is deposited to your paypal account.

Just to clarify, it’s specifically the real money part of this that’s the issue. Blizz is totally fine if guilds want to trade runs and clears for in-game gold

That’s really not one either. That’s the way the game works. Ransacking a base, for whatever reason is within the rules of the game as it is laid out. By the actual rules of the game, you can wreck that base whenever you feel like it. An unspoken rule would be more like “only wreck bases if someone built them out

And can I insure your preorder for an extra $1? If it becomes scratched or damaged, we’ll replace it no questions asked.

While you are following this could I interest you in a pre-order?

See this is EXACTLY what Kotaku is good for and should do more often. Actually call out GAMING related companies and businesses that conduct shady business practices at the expense of their employees and gamers alike.

Then they would have to pay their employees something close to a living wage, treat them like human beings, and rethink their “used games” preorder business model entirely.

And where’s the money in that?

All those other games were just practice for them, its become easier for them because they know how it works now. It’s always going to be a cat and mouse game when it comes to DRM. Denuvo built a better mouse trap but the mice figured out how to avoid it.
