You absolutely can remove the Zelda-ness from the game entirely without changing a single thing else. What intrinsicly Zelda aspect couldn’t be removed?

Considering D2 and Bungie were tailspinning and only getting more draconian about microtransactions long before selling to Sony, I don’t think there’s much spin to be had. For the record, I’m not a Sony fan and I’m not interested in a PS5 or beyond. XBox either, for that matter.
