The nonsense is you argued against a premise I never made. I never said the game had to be a gigantic epic. And I elaborated on what I want elsewhere.

It absolutely is feasible. It’s just a matter of scale. I’m not expecting some 100 hour epic. That’s ridiculous. I would be happy with a 5 hour story that branches significantly into a dozen, distinct paths.

They really had to stretch to find reasons to call the game itself bad. They couldn’t just dislike it on principle, they had to really dig deep and try to convince people it wasn’t a good game anyway. So many articles complaining about random, nitpicky things and pretending they were game destroying.

I don’t think they were defending the title or saying the title shouldn’t be changed. It reads, to me, like they were saying it could very well be the case that the development team had no idea of what the possible connotations of the original name were.
