Looks like it is time for my version of Netflix and chill, Youtube and cry.

everytime scott comes up in the headlines it makes me sad. dude was so nice in the few opportunities i got to meet him. and he was so damned funny.
You’re totally correct about it not being considered a glamorous job until recently. There’s very little that’s glamorous about it. Brewing is mostly cleaning. You get these kids fresh out of school, some who switched from other not physical at all degrees into brewing school and they get to the brewery and realize…
Help! I’ve spent what feels like an eternity all by myself with nothing and noone around - but now, I have Derek! Unfortunately, he has wind chimes down there, which I could work with when there was a large amount of coke available. But now there’s nothing to snort, all the clanging and chiming gives me a headache.…
I don’t! If I can avoid it. 😂😂😂
Where are my keys?
I appreciate your reply! And now I just noticed the awful autocorrects in a paragraph, poor word choice at times, and a jumbly progression overall but I'm relieved the meaning shone through. Thank you!
I’m sorry that I didn’t respond sooner (Kinja problems). Thank you for your post; what you’re saying makes a lot of sense. I am in my 20's, and I am the type of person who spends way too much time in his head. I’ve been working with a therapist on this behavior (technically non-behavior) and the issues underlying it,…
My high school art teacher had Illinois! and would play it sometimes on shuffle in class, and I didn’t really catch it until I caught an ACL performance on PBS late one night before going to summer camp and actually hearing “Casimir Pulaski Day” as a kid for the first time, alone in my house, in the dark, was a…
Im in the Grays and this is WAY too long, but I felt compelled. Forgive me:
Sufjan is definitely up there on the “crushing lyrics” front. The whole Carrie and Lowell album is just bursting with them.
along the lines of your Should Have Known Better line is my favourite line from the album: “I love you more than the world can contain in its lonely and ramshackle head”. *wow.*
“There’s blood on that blade/Fuck me, I’m falling apart”
There’s a kind of spiritual predecessor to all of Carrie and Lowell on the Michigan album called Romulus, and for my money it has the most heart-breaking lines of any Sufjan song. Transforming a line that had been fairly relatable and innocuous about childhood mistakes “And I was ashamed.” to something impossibly…
Carrie & Lowell is such a great album for this, but I’ve listened to it so many times that it’s lost some of its power for me. But the moment that almost always makes my breath catch is in “The Only Thing,” when he sings “I want to save you from your sorrow.”
“We’re all gonna die.”
I’m the weirdo who thinks Predatory Wasp is the real heartbreaker on that album, not Casimir Pulaski Day. “I can’t explain the state that I’m in... The state of my heart. He was my best friend.”
I love a Bota. If you let give it time to breathe it really comes alive.
The appeal of TJ’s Incanto Rosso, though, is showing up to Thanksgiving dinner carrying (cradling, really) a double magnum bottle and letting friends and family know that you’re ready to get down to the nitty-gritty and get this show on the road.

Tanooki Suit Riot kinda beat me to this one, but I’ll try to add on. Whenever I feel that I have publicly done something embarrassing I keep reciting to myself “Nobody really cares” over and over as a kind of mantra. Perhaps in these situations you should keep reminding yourself that you’re not doing anything wrong…
