Just moved to the area at the beginning of this year. Can someone tell me why the fuck? I heard Mike Jerrick saying some shit in passing this morning, but I didn’t catch it.

Downtown Phoenix is *just okay*, I don’t care how many restaurants are within a mile of your house. Don’t get me wrong, I would live there, but only because of it’s proximity to the high desert, not because of the city itself.
Yes, I like that you can drive less than two hours and be in Sedona, but then, I’d just rather live in Sedona (plus it’s that much closer to SE Utah). You also stand a passing chance of running into Maynard up there . . .

I gotta give the nod to “Smoke Signals” here. Most beautiful song of 2017, and it isn’t even close, IMO. Listened to this album for the first time last night after reading this review, and “Smoke Signals” made me cry.
Your mom is strange
Of course it’s big, but that’s not what you were arguing. You were arguing that it was strange because he burned a lot of calories throughout the day, as if his one meal was a normal one that you or I might eat. But burning 5,000 calories a day doesn’t mean anything if he’s eating 6,000
Eating throughout the day and being a good athlete are not related. Obviously!
The amount of calories he burns means nothing. He made no mention of what/how much he eats for dinner.
I’d be willing to wager that there are tens of millions people around the world who do this every day (by choice/unrelated to starvation).
