This show's been melodramatic and heavy-handed from the get go. Nothing new here.

I try and try but just can't get into this show. Every aspect feels so on the nose and trite. Which isn't always a bad thing - but in this shows case it feels like it's trying so hard for deeper meaning and originality. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
