One of my career paths allows me to carry a firearm as a safety measure due to the contents of transportation. However, some buildings do not allow firearms so I installed a vault in my vehicle that cannot be removed and is hard to access.

For some reason, this site has a hard on for Elon.
Yes....Don’t care.
I would say that the number number is more than 5% but I understand your point. I have a 2013 Tundra for camping and towing but it is paid off and gets less than 5000 miles a year. I am expecting it to last for another 20 years before replacement.
I mean, my 30 mile commute would be hard on a bicycle. Couple that with 55mph speed limits on country roads and it would be quite dangerous.
I am actively studying the creation and transmission of high voltage and currently there is not logical solution for something that has 500 charging spots.
I can’t agree with this more.
As a rider, we don’t call people like that “bikers”, they are called squids. They give riders and “bikers” bad names.
Then you need to offer to pay for the neighbors to swap over as well as the increased electric bill.
Hey now. This is Jalopnik, these kinds of talking points are not allowed....only the push for EVs....
Someone should really go after the shipping industry to clean up their act first.
This needs more votes....source....two teenagers live at my house.
I applaud them. No one wants a nanny state.
Preach it. Must be a slow news day.
People are pissed at Elon over everything. He is unpersoned now.
Agreed. We have a VAST section of the country that is rural and the time it would take to build around it all would be decades.
Running electrical lines is definitely not easy. The generation of the power has to come first as well as distribution locations with many switches and transformers. They are not small and are quite noisy. The installation of poles and towers are most of the time in un-developed areas which requires right of ways and…
Agreed. I am in college for high voltage Electrical Engineering and I find it downright criminal to see the massive push to electrify everything but no push to expand the electric infrastructure.
Agreed.
Weight reduction, balancing the engine internals, greater compression, better suspension. Hidden tanks for shine.
Agreed. We have other things to spend our money on.
