Please take down his picture. Please. You have no idea how you are influencing future mass shootings. As someone personally affected by school shootings, you have no idea how much impact this has.
They do this every time. This is at least the forth time they have posted a shooter’s picture who said they wanted the notoriety that came from it.
Seriously. How many comments will it take? How many times does a shooting have to happen?
Please. Please do this.
This. Posting this a second time because Jezebel posts the picture with every gunman, no matter how many people point out that it is adding to the problem.
My mom has worked with at-risk teens for the last 15 years. Every single one who has brought a gun to school, held one of her teachers at gunpoint, or threatened to school always cite media attention as a reason why they did it.
I hope Anna and the staff who approved this post realize that they almost directly hold part of the responsibility for this event happening. This is a deeply personal matter for me and I am disgusted beyond belief.
This is so important. I have read about the incident and Jezebel was the FIRST TIME out of four news outlets that I’ve seen his picture. They post the gunman’s picture every time. I like the website. I like the articles and the people. But now I have to avoid it for 3-4 days until this picture is off the front page?
No other picture available? Maybe of the people shot? The campus?
