The federal government does not spend your tax money on anything. The main purpose of federal taxes is to fight inflation, not to fund the thing it spends on. Unlike state taxes, the federal government creates money out of thin air when it spends.

Hell, Bezos could help by reviewing wages at Amazon blue collar facilities and either increase wages or put that money into retirement plans that workers could keep/borrow off of if things go bad for them individually. So, as of 2014 Baltimore had ~3k police officers... two are convicted.. that’s less than 1%.... yeah, no. Keep working. There are plenty more corrupt cops there (everywhere).
