I can't imagine that Pastor Tim would leave
any message with specific content on the
answering machine.

Nope. She said "They're Russians".
And according to a previous post,
the writers consciously decided not
to have the wood 'spies' used.
Keeps more plot options open.

Historically, many of the women who found out they were married to a Russian spy committed suicide.

Rectify!

"Is it over now, do you know how, to pick up the pieces and go home….."
Goosebumps every time.

A spin-off with Art, Tim & Rachel, Loretta, Limehouse,
and new characters in Harlan is at the top of my wish list.
Not sure how Wynn Duffy could figure in to this, as his MO
seems to be as second banana to someone driving the caper,
but perhaps he gets bored in Fiji, or ……… didn't pick up the
money right away…….came back

When Wynn 'ordered' the dog van, he specifically asked for
3 compartments big enough to hold large duffle bags -
I interpreted that as meaning one for each bag with the money,
and one for Ava as he helped her to escape out of town.

Don't forget, Raylan was conning Boyd into believing Ava was dead.
He may have just been softening him up with that line.

Yes, this was perfection, with the gestures and facial expressions
- I rewatched it several times the week it aired, and will enjoy it many
more as I re watch the entire series in years to come.

The exquisite dialogue of Justified sets it above The Shield.

I had the same thought.
Her pregnancy, and keeping
it secret, explains her actions
in the second part of the season.

Ava having Bord's son may seem hokey at first,
but I think it may play a very key role in the plot
- it much more fully explains why Ava shot Boyd,
at the very moment when they had a real chance
to get away and have a new start together. She
wanted a fresh start for her child. She probably
didn't want to take the chance

I really like them all, the whole series,
even the 5th season, which has received
a lot of criticism, was good, and important
to the overall arc of the story. And Season 1
was great - it got us all hooked!

And, check out the British TV series MI-5.
It's not about these people, but very well
done; worth watching if you like good spy
drama.

Justified, Seasons 2 & 6.

How did she break her promise of secrecy?

I also wondered why Frank was covered with blood after sex. And we didn't see his son find him in the shed, although heading in that direction after he climbed out of the window. Does this mean Frank killed the professor - blood in the right place, not close enough to the house for his son to find him?

Nick Searcy/Art Mullen is a gem!
I will be looking for him in future projects.
Don't know anything about him as a
person, but as an actor - great.

Raylan isn't "back together with Ava". We saw one kiss (and hopefully that's all it was),
initiated by Ava out of desperation to make sure Raylan will protect her no matter what.
I just don't buy it that Raylan's recklessness/impulsiveness would go so far as to jeopordize
the one case that has been his goal from the

Misuse - underuse - of both Tim and Erica Tazel.
And we need more Art in these final episodes.
All three should have had much more script time
throughout the series.
