I loved Cybil for Christine Baranski (I need a Maryanne in my life) and watched every episode (despite Alicia Witt’s annoying teen presence). When it was cancelled, the rumors said it was Shepherd’s erratic behavior (including being jealous of Baranski getting the biggest laughs) the ended things. Given what we’ve

Meh. Santa gets a pass on this one.

I don't understand why it was EVER ok for taxpayers' money to be used for this.

The thought of my tax dollars being used to pay sexual assault settlements makes me nauseangry. This is beyond gross, it’s bureaucratic evil at its worst.

Makes me think of the Seinfeld episode when George Costanza hears a fire alarm at a birthday party and knocks over several children and old women getting himself to safety, then tells the fire department that he was actually bravely going first to make a safe path for the others.

It’s a catchy fucking song. I didn’t even hear it, but after reading this article it will be stuck in my head all fucking day. Fuck. Thanks.

Ugh, I’m no fan, but this just seems like a terrible decision. It’s not even as close as the Pressure/Ice Ice Baby rip-off (which the court decided wasn’t a rip-off! IIRC)! It always sounded more like an homage rather than straight plagiarism to me.

Make no mistake, Blurred Lines is a gross sexist song that I’m happy has been largely forgotten.

I agree. You can argue it is unethical to hire contractors if you want, but having clear policies to treat them like contractors is not a bad thing in and of itself.

I don’t understand the big deal. This is completely normal. If you start treating contractors like employees, then you are obligated to provide things like health insurance, disability, etc.

Yeah, I really wonder if the ‘password accounts are actually accounts people created because some website required that they register to view an article. I mean, if the users account is listed as “fuck you, 1234 donttrackme Ave., Notyourbbusiness, NY”, then maybe they just didn’t care what the password is.

Yeah, I don’t particularly care if someone gets a hold of my Toyota forum password.  I don’t use it for anything else.  The real danger is if you’re using the same password, no matter how strong, for other sites.

Agreed. Dude is laughing during his last layup. They did it on purpose. #tictactruther

Bad arena games (remember that high or low game a few weeks back?) are the new rejected proposal skits. They know what they are doing.

I taught my kids the importance of password and network security by breaking into all of their e-mail and social media accounts over dinner. Including the ones they thought they thought I didn’t know about.

People are always so concerned about making sure the other guy can’t win that they ignore their own victory. I’m sure that says something about the human condition.

Is it too easy to guess dead parents?

Me: I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again...I love the Hornet’s court design. The honeycomb pattern, the teal and purple, the mascot. Perfect. Watching their home games/highlights makes me happy, even though I have no connection with Charlotte whatsoever. Kind of weird right?

I mean you have the Muslims and the Jews and the various exotic sexual groups and the black church ladies with the college queers
