This whole section basically lines out why this is total bullshit:

Am I a spoilsport for not finding this remotely funny? She’s 66 years old. She’s officially elderly. I’m worried when old people fall, not amused.

I guessed incorrectly 🤷🏾‍♀️

She can’t get attention for being a harried mother ‘just doing her best!’ if it isn’t documented for the world to see.

I was gonna say...I’m a PA and do runs a lot during the day and Staples is one of the few reliable places to find a public restroom.

“As a person, I know that I am not a racist. I know that I treat everyone with respect. It doesn’t matter who you are,

I replied to you first because you replied to me first. Then I got busy at work and forgot about this conversation until this morning. Simple as that. If you’d like to read my reply to TheDrDonna (who is quite eloquent and whom I’ve had numerous respectful dialogues with on this site for years), here’s a direct link.

Yes of course you’re right, if “they” is used to the exclusion of all other pronouns, that’s clearly misgendering.

I suppose the point I’m making is that “they” as a singular gender neutral pronoun has been in use for a long time for people whose gender is known and it’s not necessarily misgendering to call someone “they” even if you know their gender or preferred pronouns.

Oh sorry, I see it was more of a rhetorical question.

That seems to be the case more and more. We don’t all live in the same village or in the next county anymore. Families travel way more for work and/or school and stay away.

I have friends who rented out entire orchards and shit for 3 day celebrations. No way, man. I don’t know how they did that.

“They” is not misgendering. Anyone can be a “they”.

Oh it’s definitely high. I have a feeling the real cost of weddings is much lower and the super high end brides are skewing that number higher because they’re the ones reporting.

Precisely, I was thinking that seemed unusually high and it’s because it is.

Nope-I got my license in California in 2007 and parallel parking wasn’t on the test. I did practice it though with my driving instructor many times. She wanted to make sure I could do it even if it wasn’t on the test.

For serious. When kids had meltdowns at my elementary school and started kicking and punching, they were sent to the office and their parents were called.

That is horrifying. And then to only get a suspension? They should both lose their licenses and the one guy should be tried and sent to jail for altering the form.

My favorite response to that is ‘Why are you telling me?’
