I think in that case the influencer was being obnoxious about their request-like making it seem like they were doing the hotel a big favor by allowing them to stay there for free. And I believe that was a Valentine’s Day weekend when the hotel expected to be full.

their data comes from the Department of Transportation i.e. the government.

I wasn’t making fun of the mother who changed her child’s diaper on the seat-I shared my story because it was the worst thing I’ve seen on an airplane.

I’m not going to argue facts with you. Even your links literally say that fares are lower than they have been in the past. That study may have been commissioned by a lobbying arm but their data comes from the Department of Transportation i.e. the government.

It’s not more expensive to fly now and neither of those articles says it is. Even with the fees, it’s still cheaper to fly now than it ever has been. The article I’ve linked is from 2017.

Seriously this is the best thing I’ve seen today.

The woman claims that the guy was repeatedly punching the seat hard until she started recording at which point he started doing this pushing thing. If she hadn’t started recording, who knows what the guy would have done?

It doesn’t matter what size I am. If I’m flying in coach, I understand that my personal comfort is going to be compromised. I deal with it for the hours I have to deal with it and move on with my day.

Deregulation, 9/11 and people demanding cheap airfare is how airline travel got so terrible to begin with.

I didn’t read ridicule in that post nor did I read any kind of making of fun of bits-just the facts of the matter and how the size of their seat neighbors made their traveling experience worse than it needed to be.

Are you seriously comparing a function designed for comfort to a taser?

Nooope sometimes you have to travel with small children for any number of reasons.

Wipe the changing table down with the provided paper towels in the bathroom if it’s wet. Use a wet wipe to sanitize it and put your changing pad down. Maybe my friend’s two year old is on the small side but my friend makes it work, even if her legs aren’t completely flat on the table. She just holds them up a bit.

ALL of these parents have been offended when asked to use them.

It sucks for the larger person to be in someone else’s space and it sucks for the person whose space they are in. It sucks for both parties. No one likes strangers touching them.

It boggles my mind that people think it’s asshole-ish to recline an airline seat.

No thank goodness but holy crap on chairs in restaurants???

A kidnapper.

I was on a Southwest* flight with my mom and we had taken aisle seats across from each other. A mother, let’s call her Chloe, with about a 2 year old child sat down in the window and middle seats next to my mom.

You’re right-neither of these actresses are ‘character’ actors.
