I do know some religious people (Muslims) who see "logical" arguments for the existence of a God etc., so I don't think it's just about faith. I didn't mean that, though, what I meant is what do you get your idea of him from when following him? Basically, how do you know what he taught, if you see what I mean? From

Reminds me of

Reach out and touch faith

Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who cares
Your own personal Jesus
Someone to hear your prayers
Someone who's there

Feeling unknown
And you're all alone
Flesh and bone
By the telephone
Lift up the receiver
I'll make you a believer
Take second best
Put me to the test
Things on

Thanks. How do you follow him/know about him if you don't know much about his life, though? Do you just follow the Gospels? *confused* :)

Oh, cool. Yeah, he seemed like a pretty decent guy, regardless of all the specific "religious" stuff.

Thanks :) I'm in the UK, what denomination of church do you reckon would have lady pastors? Catholicism doesn't really appeal to me TBH, btw, no offence.

"So when you go to church you are dressing for to meet the Creator and Ruler of the Universe"

You have missed my point by a country mile. *slow clap* Used metaphorically or not, what I meant was that you could just as easily be "meeting" him when praying at home, the way you used the word. I suggest you clue yourself

Yes, even Doctor Who is facepalming.

More seriously, I don't see the issue here. The university does have to ensure that the ceremony runs to time, after all.

Oh, OK. So do you believe in the Resurrection, if you don't mind me asking? I know it's pretty much the central idea, but I'm kind of struggling to get my head around the whole concept given that there seems to be little evidence for such a major claim. :)

But isn't following Jesus (even on its own) a religion - some kind of Christianity?

Exactly.

I feel like I want to be a Christian. Then I see the misogyny rife in that community and I'm not so sure. :S

Unfortunately, sometimes satirising a stereotype (though I do find the overall thing funny) can lead to entrenching it further.

Most welcome :D

Made perfect sense to me.

I LOVE THIS GIF

I thought it was meant to be the other way round as it gets barbaric in parts? But thanks :D
