I love fun baseball. If any other pitcher in the league ushered a hitter back to the dugout after a strikeout, ESPN would have to start another network for pea-brain talk radio rejects to inventory the sins.
This is good baseball.
His “I’m a soldier” phase was comical, but his Clark Rockefeller phase is not.
“I don’t know enough about the rule to understand it right now and comment on it.”
There are two seats there for Bobby Knight, one is really heavy and the other is nailed to the floor.
JoePa is down there awkwardly kicking at the ground, hands in pockets, waiting for someone to talk to so he doesn’t have to sit with Rutgers.
And JoePa was worried he was going to be lonely in Big 10 hell.

My solution would be to have the first baseman wear a catcher’s uniform.
I see it took you exactly 20 minutes after he posted to think of your “reply” on a Deadspin message board that nobody looks at. Seems you’re closer than you think...
To be honest, I have tons of work to do, with school starting back up next week I am WAY behind. Deadspin is an excellent way to avoid doing it.
I think the rule should be if you only interview one person you don’t have to interview a minority candidate. The raiders clearly had their heart set on Gruden so it doesn’t do anyone any good to just have token candidates.
