when i bought this one a few years ago- price was on the higher end of the used car scale- i attributed it to the fact that it was in such non-molested non-abused- well taken care of condition. (and was owned by a female that took it into the dealership religiously for every single scheduled maint.)
but once nice

these must be the types of oil filters that started the “use an oil filter for a gun silencer” stories....

my first viewing of this movie was in 1983 or 1984 at a high school dance- the cool people were in the gym dancing- the nerds, geeks, etc like me were in the auditorium watching this movie via a high school projector.
and the gun punch you described- i felt exactly the same thing-
years before seeing this movie- i

early 70's road trip to Tampa from Ft.Eustis Va - big ole chevy station wagon (with those kill the kids seat in the back) - don’t remember the reason for the trip, dad driving me and my younger by 2 years brother alone- the whole trip.

i see farscythe replied - i do the same thing- i tend to type them to symbolize a pause in my flow of thoughts ... like talking in real life vs a typed comment.
i guess i picked it up a zillion years ago (like early 90's) when i first started chatting on line using some messaging program that had an indicator that the

lol that reminds me of years ago- in my younger days- i made it a point to always collect barf bags from any flight i was on, and even asked friends and co-workers to add to my collection.

he was probably firing up his social media to tell the world all about the close call he just had....

tl;dr- government ideas for street cars suck-the Tampa version.

Bringing back streetcars after 50 years, downtown and hockey arena serviced by streetcar, and even something called a People Mover? Detroit sounds like Tampa.

kinda funny- when my family rotated to okinawa in the 80's, dad shipped our old honda there ahead of time so we would have a car from day one.... the number of “modifications” required to get the car legal for the roads there was hilarious, the funniest one i remember were the taped on paper stickers on the turn

in addition to these markings (which i first came across when i lived on okinawa back in the 80's) they also have crossing signals that play a tune indicating that the crossing light was green. and now from what i’ve read- they have upgraded to playing an announcement basically giving a start-go-warning type cue and

as a ultra yellow 350z owner (and if i lived in england) - i too would have driven through that town in support of that man and his car

dang, late for party-but at least got to see if anyone posted my car before posting my car ;)

“the carjacked Mini Cooper.”

so- read thru all remarks to this point...whew. and i am surprised (or i missed it) ——how far was the jump? (based on my best guess using google maps- it was 70 feet give or take - from launch to landing on the car) any official word yet?

while i have no problem with the whole red light camera deal in general- there should be more done to fix the problem of why sometimes people run red lights .

honestly- i can not remember the last time i’ve listened to a terrestrial radio station in my car ( or house for that matter )

while not a cover-it does cover the haunting part at the beginning.... needs to be more attempts to break the mold of re-hashing the tried and true....

dont forget the trailer with the cover of radiohead-street spirit (fade out).... after watching the trailer when it first came out-i knew instinctively i knew the song...but couldn’t place it for a long time.... starts at 01:30....
