@phillyguy83: Cool... I've had a few gems like that too from my childhood... unknown and vague until I've seen the clip here on io9.

@rextroumbley: I agree. I played with it for an hour last night, jumping from minor dwarf planets, to globular clusters and back... I'm guessing as the project matures , it's features will expand. #astronomy

@mb: Sweet! This might be just up my alley. Thanks. #wikipedia

@Th12eat: Don't bet on it Th12eat. Several of my professors use wikis, and it's almost always a slog-fest getting my classmates to use it, much less use it effectively.... Disappointing yes, but maybe I should create some type of simple instructional doc to give them... We'll see. #wikipedia

This is perfect for some of my grad classes, where online collaboration is often required. I might just set one up as a backup, ready to activate if I need it... Very sweet. #wikipedia

@MCWHAMMER: Weird... but I guess it shouldn't be totally unexpected. The idea is kind of creepy, but in a time when celebrities are so carefully packaged and segment marketed as a brand, it's probably just a foreshadowing of what's to come... #streamingmedia

@phoenix: I tend to do the same.. utilizing a laptop for certain tasks, and one of my desktops for others. I was juggling two computers just earlier today, and I can actually do it efficiently. #workspaces

Whether you take this as futurist extrapolation or purely as speculative fiction, it should be an interesting read. Reminds me of the Wired Scenarios that ran in the mid to late 90's... #books

@CParis: I hate to admit it, but my girlfriend and I have developed this absolute need to watch America's Funniest Home Videos on ABC Family... It's the only time we'll watch it, and the second the 700 Club reruns start to boot up, we quickly change channels... #coyoteugly

@PixieSparkle: As I recall, they probably did. I've tried to blot out all the details... I once went to school dance where they actually had a "dance off", cardboard an all.... #coyoteugly

@PixieSparkle: God, that makes my brain hurt... In middle school I actually knew knew guys who would camp ut with their boombox and posture... Classic! #coyoteugly

@ExtensionOfBob: That scene was rather amusing, but God this film stank otherwise.

Headbands... it's all about the headbands!

@supercollider: I agree, the Cydia version just rocks. A jail broken iPod running Cydia just opens up so many other options for users...

This totally makes sense... I absolutely need SMS to keep in touch, but just as easily fall back on Twittering my friends, Skyping them or emailing them. I can't blame the phone companies for charging for it, they can charge anything that the market will bare.... we as informed consumers needs to make the choices that

@castle_hawk: Chick-Fil-A is the stuff of dreams... love that place!

What a great little service. This will come in handy for bar-hopping enmass.

@Ike_Skelton: Give it a try, but It takes a little practice to work on tender or tense spots in your shoulders or back.

I've got the previous version of this device, which basically has one hook instead of two. I like it. It gets out al of the knots in my shoulders and the center of my back, after hours of being hunched over a computer. Yeah it looks a bit weird, but it does work.
